Paul continues his very practical instructions, this time talking about work. We look at how he shows us that our faith in God is to be transformational even at work - a place many of us keep most segregated from our faith. When we work for the Lord, we work with sincerity, knowing that the earthly outcome is insignificant compared to the heavenly one.

Discussion Questions:
What is the common motivation and attitude in which a believer is to fulfill their role?
What else does scripture tell us about the importance of our heart? You might consider 1 Samuel 16:7 and Luke 6:45.
What wrong foundation can lead us to work to please men?
What wrong foundation can lead us to be lazy or not aim for excellence in our work?
What might tempt a master or boss to not be fair and just with their workers?
Should these same principles apply to the way we work in volunteer roles in the church or community?
What is “the inheritance” in verse 24? How does it compare with our pay here on earth?
Consider your role as a worker, boss, or volunteer, and share one practical way in which you can make a change to more align with the direction we’ve received in this passage.
