A Global Harvest - Revelation

A Global Harvest - Revelation
Darcy Dueck

Read the summary of the Sunday sermon: There is a spiritual war that is constantly at work under the surface around the world. As Christians we are called to recognize the signs and continually put our trust in our victorious Saviour Jesus. Our endurance is directly connected to our life in Jesus Christ.

Read: Revelation 12-14 (Portions)

Discussion Questions:

  1. This passage outlines a significant battle between spiritual forces. Do you see a connection between spiritual warfare and missions?

  2. What do you think it means that the martyrs overcame “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Rev. 12:11)”?

  3. What does endurance in the mission of Jesus look like for us today (Rev. 14:12)?

  4. List some ways that we are tempted to compromise on following Jesus today. How do we resist the temptation to compromise?

  5. What does it look like to follow the Lamb “wherever he goes”? (Rev. 14:4)

  6. Do you think that you are trusting in Jesus to lead you, no matter where he takes you?

Prayer: Pray that God would give you the endurance to follow him in all circumstances of life. Also, pray for those Christians around the world who are enduring in hard places.
