Serving Opportunities
Citizens Church exists to see people come to know and be changed by Jesus. If you call Citizens home, we want to help you serve our church family. God has given each person spiritual and natural gifting which make our church better and give us all the opportunity to serve each other and serve our neighbour.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Key serving teams at Citizens

Serve our church by leading us to worship God together.

Facilitate our corporate events through technology.

Welcome people to Citizens Church and create a warm space for all.

Serve our church by helping facilitate a gospel centered time with children.

Secure our space after the service is done.

Help our church celebrate Jesus’ work on the cross by preparing and cleaning up the bread and juice for communion.

Assist with planning and hospitality of events outside of our Sunday gathering.
Not all roles fit into a designated team
We have many individuals at Citizens that serve in a capacity that does not fit perfectly into one of the serving teams listed above.
If any individual has their own idea of a way to consistently serve that isn’t on the list above, please reach out. While your serving ideas may not always fit, we welcome ideas from people who are passionate about serving in the capacity they feel called to serve.
