The Dying Saviour - Mark
Both the darkness and Jesus’ words (verses 33-34) show the agony of His crucifixion. Yet in Isaiah 53:10, we read that it was the will of the Lord, or as some versions say that it “pleased” him. How can we reconcile the fact that a loving God allowed and willed this agony as part of his good and perfect plan of salvation?
